María Celeste Dávila de León
Professor of the Department of Social Anthropology and Social Psychology at the Complutense University of Madrid. Her main lines of research revolve around the study of prosocial behavior, social participation and organizational behavior. Specifically, much of her scientific production focuses on the analysis of volunteering, its predictors and consequences. She has participated as a member or PI in several research projects on the study of social participation and active citizenship. He is currently PI of the project “Analysis of the role of the University in the promotion of active citizenship of students” funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation (Ref.: PID2022-141751OB-I00). She is also a member of the Complutense Institute of Sociology for the Study of Contemporary Social Transformations (TRANSOC). Some outstanding publications:
