M. Carmen Hidalgo Villodres

Professor of Social and Environmental Psychology at the University of Malaga. Her current research interests focus, among others, on active citizenship, social participation and, more specifically, volunteering, identifying the variables that affect the practice and permanence of volunteers, as well as the benefits derived from this practice, both for users and for the volunteers themselves. He has participated in numerous research projects funded by the Junta de Andalucía, the Ministry of Science and Technology or the European Union. Some outstanding publications:
