Lorena Gil de Montes

Graduated in psychology at the University of the Basque Country/ Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and PhD at the Free University Amsterdam. Professor of social psychology at the UPV/EHU. Her lines of work revolve around communication in different spheres of public life: communication and dissemination of stereotypes about different groups in the field of intergroup relations; use of qualitative methods in the framework of the theory of social representations; analysis of how communities construct the meanings of different social objects (informal care, emerging epidemics, etc.); and analysis of controversial social policies and their reception by society (universal basic income, democratic memory law, etc.).
